Mr Subramaniam has been practicing Ophthalmology for over 25 years and is one of the leading eye surgeons in The East Midlands, having performed several thousand cataract and refractive surgical procedures during his career. He was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Ophthalmology (CCST) in 1999 and is on the General Medical Council’s register of specialists.
“Being one of the first surgeons to be assessed for competency in laser refractive surgery by The Royal College of Ophthalmologists, he has subsequently become an assessor for competency in laser refractive surgery.“
Using the latest technologies in cataract and refractive lens surgery, he is trained and certified in laser cataract surgery and routinely uses premium lenses, including various types of multifocal lenses.
